The 9 1/2" wide arms are the widest that I have ever seen. Cushions not included, but can be provided at an additional cost. The photos were taken before the restoration was started, so a few minor "dings" are visible, primarily in the seat. All restoration and painting will be completed before the set leaves our workshop. This beauty is handmade from various woods including a burl slice for the majority of the top surface. The shingle shaped features around the perimeter of the top retain most of their original varnish finish. Strong and sturdy enough to be used. This piece appears to have been made in the late 20's or early 30's by a Tramp, Gypsy or backwoods craftsman. The outer rim of the top surface is elevated by approx. 1/4" to accommodate a protective glass sheet. Measurements: 23 3/4" long X 13 1/2" wide X 29 1/4" tall. CA. 1920-30.

Fantastic Triple Cathedral Back Deco Fiber Sofa manufactured by Merikord Co. Freshly painted Benjamin Moore No. 469 "Backwoods Green" over a ruddy brown/red undercoat. The photo online is showing it as much lighter and less yellow than it really is. The rack of springs in the frame has been covered by jute webbing and then a decking of the same material as the cushion. Absolutely fabulous Rattan and Stick Wicker Chair featuring both a FanBack and Wingback. This most unusual style is from the 1920's - 1940's and is sound and sturdy. The parallel double reed design is a characteristic of Stick Wicker, suggesting that this piece is a transition piece between the two design schools. The extra large circular base provides additional stability. It can be used as well as enjoyed for its artistic beauty! The chair has a mellow natural finish topped by a glossy varnish, most likely recently applied. This is a beauty! Large 3pc Bar Harbor Set consisting of a long sofa, chair and rocker, all large and made from large and sturdy frame and wicker. This is a high quality example of Bar Harbor furniture. While it is not labelled, we believe it to be Heywood Wakefield. Measurements: Sofa 80" long outside arm to outside arm X 36" tall; the seat is 72" long X 23" deep; floor to top of seat 13 1/2"; arms 4" wide. The inner spring seat cushions are probably original to the piece and will be included. The current upholstery fabric is not original, and in a good condition (cleanliness and wear) to be used as is. The set has been repainted, but only once or possibly twice. It now is in a gloss black with gold accent washes. After very minimal restoration is accomplished, this set will most likely be repainted. The paint condition is so light that there is excellent definition to the wicker weave pattern. Great for entertaining or just napping on the 3 season porch, mountain cottage or beach house! CA 1900.

#11114	Click for more images	Bird Cage Reed Victorian Restored and painted - $85.00. Victorian Reed Bird Cage. This bird cage is made of wicker. It was originally natural color but has been painted white over the years and the paint is a little chippy. There is a swing inside and the Heywood Brothers, Wakefield Co. paper tag on the bottom of the cage. The door to the cage was made by cutting out a section of the cage and re-attaching it to the opening. The door does not close completly and it is slightly warped. The top of the cage has a woven ball at the top where it attaches to the stand. The measurements are: 19 1/2" tall X 10 1/2" diameter in the middle and 9 1/2" diameter on the bottom. CA 1890.

Antique fiber wicker and wood umbrella / cane stand, with tightly woven top and open weave below. This distinctive and well-crafted piece has a hardwood bottom which is attached to a larger wood plank base, making for great stability. The base is trimmed in a thick wicker braid. The stand measures approximately 18 inches high. The top measures about 14 inches in diameter and the base is about 14.25 inches in diameter. The stand weighs about 6.25 pounds. It is in good to very good condition. It is intact and very sturdy, showing surface wear in some areas. Please refer to the photographs for appearance and condition. CA 1920.
