Absolutely fabulous Rattan and Stick Wicker Chair featuring both a FanBack and Wingback. This most unusual style is from the 1920's - 1940's and is sound and sturdy. The parallel double reed design is a characteristic of Stick Wicker, suggesting that this piece is a transition piece between the two design schools. The extra large circular base provides additional stability. It can be used as well as enjoyed for its artistic beauty! The chair has a mellow natural finish topped by a glossy varnish, most likely recently applied. This is a beauty!
Measurements: 48" tall X 36 3/4" outside wing to outside wing X 25 1/2" outside arm to outside arm and sits 32" out from the wall; seat is 20" X 20" X 15 1/2" from the floor; base is 30" diameter.
